A few months ago I was surprised to read the court schedule and see my own name appear.
The court schedule, available to lawyers and the media, lists the names of cases (unless they have suppression), the charge(s) they face, and the boring bits like case numbers, the location of the courtroom, the judge/lawyer etc etc.
But very weird to read my surname, it isn’t that common (the name, I mean).
And hours later I was served with documents (online) where I was named as first responder, while my editor and publisher were named as second and third responders respectfully.
And the plaintiff?
