I'm a bit puzzled by this because we don't have a petrol station (or garage) in Waitati. The building used to be a garage but is now an on the spot dairy.
Your admission to parking without paying the required charge to DCC is disgusting. I do not pay my rates in Dunedin for this type of irresponsible defiance.
If the council had made sure the machines were able to take a Credit Card payment as advertised, he would have paid... So really, take it up with the DCC that their lack of maintenance on the machines/system cost them money.
Get the Pay My Park app, I never have coins, and you're using your credit card anyways 🤷♀️ But hey, did you get a ticket, or did you manage to sneak a freebie?
